ACCL Lubricants

Our ACCLs (Anticorrosion Connector Lubricants) protect electrical contacts against corrosion without hindering the flow of electric power through electronic connectors. These lubricants are based on SantoVac® PPE (Polyphenyl Ether) technology. Billions of contacts have been protected by the use of our ACCL and PPE products.

Features at a Glance

Our ACCL fluids contain solvents to facilitate application on connectors and have a 30-year history of commercial service for connectors using precious and base metal contacts in telecommunication, automotive, aerospace, instrumentation, and general-purpose applications. These materials form a highly stable, non-spreading film of 15-to-20-micron thickness on connectors/terminals, thereby providing long-term lubrication and protection even when the connectors are exposed to aggressive environments.

Our connector lubricants reduce insertion force, minimize wear, and maintain low and stable contact resistance. Additionally, these lubricants protect against all forms of corrosion, including “fretting corrosion.” Our lubricants maintain their performance for decades or the use life of the equipment. An ultraviolet dye is incorporated in these lubricants to permit easy identification during application and quality control inspections. PPEs have been certified by Telecordia®/Bellcore, AT&T® and Bell Labs®. The following of our connector lubricants are widely used and specified by major OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers).
